Insert Row Shortcut in Excel
Simply select a row in Excel and press CTRL, SHIFT, and + (Plus) to insert a new row quickly. Select more than one row and use the same shortcut to insert multiple new rows instantly.
💎 Insert Row
To insert a new row in Excel, follow these instructions.
1. Select a row.
2. Right-click, and then click Insert.

Note: Instead of executing step 2, apply the CTRL + SHIFT +. shortcut for efficiency.
💎 Insert Rows
Use the steps below to quickly add multiple rows in your Excel worksheet.
1. To select several rows, hold down the mouse button and drag across the row headers.
2. Press CTRL SHIFT +.

💎 Insert Cells
To insert a row directly, select the row first; otherwise, Excel shows the Insert Cells dialog when you press CTRL + SHIFT + +.
1. Select cell A3.
2. Press CTRL SHIFT +.
3a. Excel automatically selects “Shift cells down”. Click OK.

3b. Click on “Entire row”, then press OK to insert a new row into your sheet.
