How to Delete Rows in Excel Shortcut
Click on the row you want to delete, then press CTRL + – (minus sign) to remove it in Excel. To remove multiple rows quickly, highlight the rows and apply the same shortcut.

1. Select a row.
2. Right-click, and then click Delete.

To efficiently delete multiple rows in Excel, please perform the following steps.
1. To select multiple rows, click on the row headers and drag across the desired rows.
2. Press CTRL – (minus sign).

π Delete Cells
Excel displays the Delete Cells dialog box whenever you use the CTRL + – (minus) shortcut without first selecting a row or multiple rows.
1. Select cell A3.
2. Press CTRL – (minus sign).
3a. Excel automatically selects “Shift cells up”. Click OK.

3b. Select “Entire row” and click OK to delete the row.
